Nagano, Japan, May 20, 2022 – Dana Leong, a Two-Time Grammy Winning Musician releases a moving electro downtempo re-imagination of the timeless classic “Moon River.” Starting with a three-week itinerary to finalize a four-year buildout of the multimedia music space “Studio Comme a Tu”, Leong borders suddenly close, leaving him spending 18 months deep in mountain isolation, a few hours outside the Olympic Village of Nagano (site of the 1998 Winter Olympics). In what nothing short of a cinematic survival journey of a lifetime, the Japanese-Chinese American artist shares a rare glimpse of the music he creates while struggling within the harsh elements and extreme isolation during the pandemic. “I will never forget the lessons of spending time ‘alone’ and the density of emotions we all rode during 2020. I hope this song will help us remember there is always hope in every dark moment,” said the multi- instrumentalist.
