Two-time Grammy Award Winning musician DANA LEONG was invited to create music for the HUGO BOSS 2020 Pre-fall Fashion show, held in Shanghai on October 18, 2019.
Lines of celebrities and stylists from around the world, including actors Henry Cavill, Mark Zhao, Yifeng Li, Geng Han, Zun Wu, actresses Tao Liu, Jiani Zhang, athlete Zetao Ning and super model Lei Zhao. Many of the who’s who of global stylists, fashion editors and bloggers flew in from all corners of the world to join the runway.
The event started with a gentle melodic cello theme by Leong as hundreds of models were dressed in BOSS 2020 Pre-Fall series walked a unique circular runway lined with holograph-like LED projections. With each look the steps and music built in an elegant and rhythmic fashion; a graceful and vibrant atmosphere!
BOSS made their mark as a brand with their signature suits stylings, however this show was a great display of many new directions. Leong’s custom soundtrack flowed in equally colorful directions; at times a signature velvet cello warmth, other times electrified and noble.
Rhythmic and energetic, the music propelled the models through a sheik electro odyssey.
BOSS 2020 Pre-Fall Fashion Show created a joyful and immersive display of beauty and soundscape to the audience; a fashion feast & perfect union of apparel and music.
