09/12/14- During his trip to China, Dana met with the founder of the Alliance for Global Youth Leadership, Dr. Chistina Meng Zhang, to accept a lifetime invitation to speak at both Tianjin University and NanKai University as well as to record a special inspirational message for the youth of China.

09/12/14- Electric cellist Dana Leong and turntablist DJ Qbert perform with artwork by Marton Gabor creating an audio-visual experience that celebrates imagination, diversity and innovation. A monumental moment for underground hip hop and futuristic classical music, this performance was received with the first standing ovation that the forum has seen in a 43 year history!

09/11/14- Joined by a very special musical guest DJ Qbert, Dana led an interactive lecture demonstration on the science of sound, the history of Hip Hop and an inside look at the unique cello vs. turntable creative process.

09/11/2014- Musician Dana Leong and neuroscientist Morten Overgaard come together to explore the mechanics of developing confidence. Attended by an intimate group of key CEO’s and world leaders, it was an fast paced introspective on achieving continuing momentum and success through self evaluation. The takeaway? Build incrementally, don’t stop challenging yourself, face your fears and know that your brain will never stop creating new connections till the day you die!

09/10/2014 Dana was honored by the personal invitation to meet Japan’s Minister of Culture Mr. Hakubun Shimomura. The two discussed an upcoming special summit for arts and athletics, which will include a special personal discussion with Dana & the people of Japan as well as a few musical surprises that will span from 2016 through the 2020 Olympics.
