Dana Leong has been partnering with Yamaha to present community workshops and unique programs that highlight not only music education, but a variety of topics including Diversity and Urban Culture, Artists as Entrepreneurs, and Composing and Performing With Laptop. Yamaha generously provides financial support for this workshops, and also custom-made Dana’s electric cello, which he designed with Yamaha’s team in Japan.

Dana will be heading out on tour with long-time collaborator Paquito D’Rivera as a part of D’Rivera’s “Charlie Parker with Strings” project. Dana also appears on several of Paquito’s Grammy-Award winning albums, and Paquito appears on Dana’s track “Insatiable”, available for download on iTunes and Amazon.com.
